It's a wonder how people can change,
In a twinkling of an eye,
A snap of the fingers,
It just takes that split second,
I've never really comprehended that,
But time and time again,
I see it happening,
Not only to me,
But to the people around me

I guess it's just human nature,
That we forget sometimes,
If not most of the times,
Of the people who are always behind the scenes,
Praying and encouraging us,
And treat them,
As though they are not there at all,
My friends take this from me,
Never ever forget,
Those who have helped you,
Encouraged you,
Picked you out of the drain

They have shown you kindness,
In your times of need,
Now it's your turn to show them,
Your kind heart,
