D-day for me and the other students in NUS
To get our 2nd semester results
Waited the whole day
Waited so patiently
Like how I was patiently waiting
For the right girl to come into my life
Nearly 3 years ago
The only difference was that now I am
Still waiting for the right girl
As the former was rejected
By my dear parents
And me,
no matter how painful and hard
Had to let go of her
Being jealous of her now is the worst feeling I have now

Anyway
Back to my results
5.01 pm I switched on my computer
Clicking on streamyx to connect to the net
Opening firefox window
Typing in my username and password
My heart stopped half a second,
Maybe a second
What I saw was lots of bees and birds
and only an ant without a leg
Disappointed that I was
I was hoping a colony of ants swarming my account
Alas it could not be
Nevertheless I thank you Lord
For everything that you gave me

My hopes and dreams
Lord you see it and help me
Now and so forth
Until my 4th year
