Had MA1506 test just now. 10 mcq questions, 1 careless mistake and another half hearted try. Answers came out just after they collected the paper. Well I got 8/10, not too bad, but still ruing the mistakes...well should not complain too much also. 8/10 is not that bad =) Well got to go study for MLE1101 and PC 1432 d...all the best to those who are having their exams!!!!

Last night was the Hall's Productions at UCC(University Cultural Centre). This year, the producers planned a musical, a change from the normal drama mumma that Temasek does every productions. Hahaha well actually I was not keen to go but Victor already bought tickets for me and Deborah. He seems kind of rich these few days, buying tickets for quite a few people :p Had quite a satisfying dinner at the Taiwanese noodles shop beside Fong Seng with Jonas, Fung Hong, Deborah and Nay Ling...too bad I didn't take photos of our food...rushing for time :p 7.25...reached UCC, my first time there and I saw so many hall residents, some so different after they dress up and make up, even Jonas has to agree that TH has some faces to look at heheh :p We sat at the side of the theater waiting and waiting....finally at about 8, the lights went out...time to sit back and enjoy the musical. My summary of the musical...it's okay la since its the first time we are doing it. Some of the acting were classic, Gabriel being himself all the way, Jackson being the 'pai kia' of the musical and the dancing 'police force' =) Laughed until I nearly cried watching them. The music was good and the props too. The only setback is the well, the transition of the scenes, a bit slow la making people wait and getting a bit bored also yeah...well pictures of those who came =)

Actually this is supposed to be part 2, but part 1 pictures are not ready yet, so....Anyways, on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, me, Lui, Lionel, Chin Yong, Wee Ming, Chin Teik, Joo Keong, Yong Joo went to 'Pai Ni' at our friends house. Annual tradition for us to go around 'visiting' friend's house and at the same time collecting ang pow :p This year, collection was not very bountiful because only a few people participated, compared to last year. But its the fellowship and the jokes that we share which is better...I hope :p More photos to enjoy =)

Back to Singapore after Chinese New Year and time to post late late photos from Jonas' birthday treat. My camera was with Rui Hoong so I did not have the time to load the photos until now. Anyway, the steamboat was great, eating all the beef and mutton and chicken we can find, and finishing off with 2 ice cream 'potong' haha. A great night...thanks ya Jonas and you are always in our heart :p Photos for you all to enjoy...

I'm going back today!!! After nearly 2 months having to cope with IHG, photo taking duties, late night training and not to forget the studying... Its been an eventful 1st half of the semester for me... For IHG, I am so glad that we claimed back the overall title from Eusoff Hall. It was down to the last event to determine who will be the overall champions. Hearty hearty thank you to Kent Ridge Hall for helping us pip the Eusoff girls into 3rd place in the cross campus. :D These are the few times I am proud to be a Temasekian. Hope that we can defend the title next year. Studywise, it's not been all smooth sailing for me. Although I am already released from the trauma of computing, there is still a challenge from Material Science and Math, where the stuff that we learn are totally new to us and we are supposed to learn it up in 6 months. Talk about crash courses. Well I have to buck up for the coming mid-terms, seem to be lagging a little bit for Math and Statics. Ahh how can I forget about CTW??!! The 'mother' of all the work this semester. Just passed up a 850-word critique and before I could take a breather, now I have to prepare for position paper with my group members. (For your information, position paper is something like PW, just that you have to finish it in a shorter timeframe). Well, my team has so far shown great potential in sourcing for information and giving positive feedback to their fellow group members. Life in the hall generally has been a little dull till the surfacing of gossips and 'scandals'. The most talked about 'scandal' is one involving Victor. Well, if you want more detailed information, please ask him and not me :p I'm just telling that there is a gossip about Victor just after Valentine's Day. And because of one person's msn nivkname, Victor has transformed from a low profile VPU, PA and Productions member to be a small 'celebrity' in the hall. Hahaha Tonight was the night I had been awaiting, I get to go out of NUS for entertainment purposes for the first time since the start of the semester. Went to Plaza Singapura with Victor, Deborah and Fung Hong. Had a great time joking about 'buggery' and 'choo choo trains' on the way there and also when we were eating at Cartel. Called seafood platter which had mussels, scallops...mmmm makes me feel hungry again!! Yeah anyway, these are the photos are random ones...some on fung hong(classic one) victor and the 'puteri' Deborah...enjoy

She has been nagging and nagging for an update :p About a week ago was my last post. Ahh not many things have happened in my life this week, apart from the normal stuff of going to lectures, sleeping during lectures, stoning during tutorial. Lets see, we had IHG squash last week, 3 matches i think, where we played against EH, RH and KE7. Sitting as a reserve for 2 of the matches were excruciating! You know the feeling where you already have adrenaline pumping in you, but you still have to sit down and watch your team mate slug it out in the court. Now I understand how Suan East feels being on the bench :p Anyways, we lost to EH and KE7, and beat RH, so only the semifinals this year. Nevermind, there is still next year =) Next up was Jonas punya birthday "celebration". It was funny because in the end, we were the ones eating the cake. He had other plans that night. hehe yeah and the next day, he treated us steamboat at Marina Bay :D There were about 14 of us, and we ate a lot, mutton, pork, prawns, sui kow, chicken...mmmm aiya my camera is with dina so no photos :p i bet i gained like 2 kg after that and I am still feeling the effects of it :p Wooi Siew Ping!! I got critique to finish la. Last night was doing it until I slept kay. But no worries, after I pass it up, then there will be more photos hehehe

This was supposed to be up on Sunday but I was too lazy to put it up. :p Anyways, I went for my SS field trip to Kampong Glam, somewhere near Bugis. Was there with Elizabeth and we were like 10 minutes late, because I rushed from VivoCity. Well, the trip was a bit disappointing because the area did not really have a significant potrayal of the Malay heritage or culture, maybe the only few are the mosque and the musuem, which was formerly a palace. Life there is slow paced and the people are just taking their own time to do things. Even Elizabeth commented the same thing. We tried the satay along the street and then we waited for like nearly 20 minutes eventhough there is no one ordering before us. Just reminds me of the people back home, slow and serene, not stressed or anything; kiving their own life. Ahh how I wish I could do that everyday. Hahahaha I must be dreaming!! Well after the fieldtrip, we went shoppin(not me but her!!) at Bugis until 7.30 pm before heading home. Few photos of Kampong Glam...
