Have I not commandeth thee?
Be strong and of a good courage:
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:
for the Lord thy God is with thee
whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1 : 9

She's out of my life
She's out of my life
And I don't know whether to laugh or cry
I don't know whether to live or die
And it cuts like a knife
She's out of my life
It's out of my hands
It's out of my hands
To think for two years she was here
And I took her for granted I was so cavalier
Now the way that It stands
She's out of my hands
So I've learned that love's Not Possession
And I've learned that love won't wait
Now I've learned that love needs expression
But I learned too late
She's out of my life
She's out of my life
Damned Indecision and cursed pride
Kept my love for her locked deep Inside
And it cuts like a knife
She's out of my life

It was my decision
To make us just friends
But you are the one
That has to remind me
That we are just good friends
Though I doubt it now
Maybe we're just friends, not good friends
Maybe just 'hi', 'bye' friends
At least both of us won't feel so awkward
Especially on my side
So many times I've asked people to let go
I've forced them to let go
Now I'm the one in need of forcing
My life is full of irony
Or maybe it's hypocracy...

It has been busy busy busy for me for the past 3 days...trainings, meetings, duties, classes. Yeah, and now I have to handle another 'scandal' made popular by my kakak at PGP. Well, review of the past 4 days
Monday:
In the morning, I was still drowsy and lazy to wake up for math tutorial. Practically dragged my feet there. With my fingers crossed, I was hoping that I won't get that China tutor who taught me math last semester. All of us were like 'If it is him we are all going to change classes!'. I guess God did answer our prayer and sent us a Norwegian instead @@ such a stark difference. His name was Jan and he is TALL, real tall. He is cool, and makes jokes all the time. What I like about him is that he tries to engage the class by asking questions and opinions. I guess it should be the way of teaching, rather than giving us extra stuff, which makes the topic more confusing. After that, it was a 2 hour break, which I unsuccessfully tried to study in the library. I kept nodding off to sleep!! In the end I gave up and took a slow walk to physics tutorial. Physics tutor was a Vietnamese woman, who tried her very best to explain to us but her English just could not make it. Haiz, just rely on her tranparencies lor I guess, it explains much better than her. :p MLE tutorial was the worst!! This guy who did not know his stuff came as a volunteer tutor. To add to the misery, 30 students packed into a room! It was noisy and stuffy. Was glad that he let us off early. =\ MLE lecture was another drag...the LT was so cold and the lecturer just brushed the surface of the topic without realy going into the detail. I was a bit disappointed. Oh well, can't expect too much right. Straight after class I rushed back to grab my camera and headed to SRC for the volleyball semifinal between TH and KR. Sad sad because we lost in straight sets. Felt for the girls too after seeing them cry their hearts out after the match. Well, they trained hard and they deserved to win but it just was not their day. After duty was photography committee meeting, where all the members were shelled by Choo Ying for not being 'passioned' enough when taking photos. I was too tired already after choosing my photos I took a bathe and went to sleep after some reading....
Tuesday:
5 hours of class...2 lectures and 1 tutorial. Slept a bit during Statics lecture :p Must read up more already before I lag too much behind time. My only respite for the day was tennis training!!7-11 pm...Played well for most of the game, but well I did have my moments of madness. Arrgghhh must curb it before it becomes worse...
Wednesday:
Quite a relaxing day, so I had the time to read and do a bit of work, before squash training. PLayed for awhile only before I felt dizzy and decided to stop. Went for dinner and watched Aussie Open with Guo An and Zhi Hao until 8.45. Remembered that I have to lead worship for CG so I rushed back, bathed then looked through the songs. CG was a fun time of fellowship and learning of the word. Learnt that we must always remember that God is always faithful to us no matter what we have done and how bad it was. Also got to know that I am a hospitable person, as well as a giver. Hahaha I did not know that =)
Thursday:
The only highlight of the day was getting to watch Federer demolish Roddick in the semifinal of the Australian Open. The shots he makes are unbelievable and such a beauty to see. Did my studies at night. Was happy to finish mastering physics and imparo. Off to sleep already..Nitez everyone =)

Last night was the first matches of IHG tennis. KR vs TH and KE7 vs EH. We were all, well maybe only me, nervous and excited. I really couldn't wait for the chance to blast balls around the court. Well, at 8.30 pm the first and second singles got underway, with Zheng Zhen and Sunil playing. Both played very well, especially Zheng Zhen. Imagine playing with your knuckles bleeding for 3/4 of the matches :p Although Zheng Zhen and Sunil lost 9-2 and 9-1 respectively, we were still happy for the team because we played our best =) Next up is the 2 doubles match; I was paired with Rong Shen while Benjamin and Zhi Hau went as 2nd doubles. I can say that we owned the doubles eventhough we were not playing our best :p Ben and Zhi Hau won 9-3 while we won 9-5...match was tied at KR 2 - TH2. The third singles, Guo An, played his hearts out, but still bowed out tamely to KR. Well 3-2 to KR, but credits and kudos to all my teammates for the strong bonding among the players. Eventhough we lost but we did not give up without a fight. =) The next match, we win fight all the way to victory!! Go TH!!

For the past 3 days it has been cloudy and rainy. It all started on friday where it stated raining from 2 pm. I was due to have tennis training at 4, so I thought that the rain will stop in like 2 hours time max. So, I went for physics lecture at 3, with the rain showing signs of stopping. But I guess the clouds were just toying with me because during the lecture, I could here the storm outside LT7. It was really raining cats, dogs, frogs...Gah, one day of training gone for me. Then I thought, we are using the TH/EH courts so we can use it later at night, maybe 7 or 8 pm. I was happy for that but as time passed by, the rain continued, became heavier and lasted until about 2 am, when I was about to sleep.
Next morning, I woke up and saw the floor outside my room wet. So, it was raining the whole night and I was expecting it to be bright and sunny. Disappointed again =\ it was cloudy, but I did not pay much attention to it anymore because I was already late for squash training. After training, mandi and everything, went out for lunch with Vic, rh, yg, kk, ls, yh and fh at Clementi KFC. It was coooooold...brrrr regretted not bringing my jacket. The rest of the day was spent sleeping and watching 'Simpsons' until about 6, where Hui-En invited me to some IFG meeting at some condominium. Went there and met the SM3's who just came in this year. Well, they were friendly and easy going; found it easy to mix around with them, eventhough my mandarin sucks :p Came back at about 10.30 and watched Man Utd beat Aston Villa for the 3rd time in as many weeks. =) Keep the momentum going!! Went to sleep at 2 am again after watching some more episodes of 'Simpsons'(must cut down already when tutorial starts :p)
Sunday morning....another cloudy day, so I decided to go for a run at WCP. Gym was next and now, I'm comtemplating on what to eat for lunch, since it is starting to rain again...grrr hopefully tonight it will stop and I get to hit some balls in the court....

My first day of lessons...Semester 2, Year 1. Only had one lecture today, MLE 1101. Man, it was sooooo boring because the lecturer has this small voice so I could not really hear what he was saying and also because it was introductory lecture. You know, introductory lectures are always the most boring lecture of the module, telling you why you are taking this module, what is the importance, the breakdown of schedule bla bla bla. Anyway, I nearly rotted it there with the stench of the non-aired LT 7. I don't know why this LT is so smelly, same goes to LT 6. Both these LT's have this sweaty smell which makes learning not conducive =\ Well, the lecturer must have sensed the uneasiness and let us go 15 minutes early, so I went for lunch with Victor, Jonas, Foo, Xinying, Chan Yip and another friend. As usual, Techno is busy busy busy and well we were fortunate to get a place for 7 people. Had my Indian rice..mmmm kind of missed it. For your information, the only food I eat at Techno is the Indonesian Panggang, Indian Rice and Malay Food. The others, hmmm doesn't really seem appealing to me :p Back to today. After lunch I came back slept for 15 minutes before reading a bit of MLE and chatting with Priscilla on skype =) Before long, the call of the gym was loudly screaming in my ear and like a pirate going after treasure, I skipped to the gym with Victor. Thanks ya for accompanying me to watch cartoons in the gym :p 6 pm...dinner and then made my way to KR for photo taking for IHG, TH against KE, badminton female. Whoa, KR has the nicest badminton courts, and its airconditioned as well. Took loads and loads of photos, but it was a bit boring as well because TH was clearly toying around with KE, playing along with them before mercifully killing them off 5-0. That was not the end of my day though. I had photography meeting as soon as I came back, but thankfully it was not as long as normal meetings phew. Now I'm back in my room, going to sleep. Tomorrow it will be jogging in the morning then tennis at night =) Nitez everyone!!
