This post should have been up 2 days ago but my computer sucked so i onli had today to post this. Happened on Friday...my first game with my dad in the stadium with the veterans(retired men who have nothing better to do). I was hitting the ball comfortably only that my stamina was in the dumps.
Anyway, this veteran whom I was playing against decided to give me a sprinting exercise and dropped shot the ball near to the net. Me being the younger one compared to my partner sprinted for the ball la. I did not manage to get the ball over to the net but i slipped...and my racquet hit the net, rebounded back directly towards my forehead. I didn't see it coming and the next second I was on the ground in a state of shock. After about half a second, I got up, wanting to continue the game. It was then only I felt something warm flowing down my nose. I looked down and to my horror, blood was flowing like a waterfall down my nose. And to make it worse all the veterans were crowding around me. Man I thought I busted a nerve or something, and my dad was especially worried. After wiping off the blood I realised it was only a small cut, and a visit to the doctor confirmed that I didn't need to stitch the wound.
Now, my forehead is healing, but for the first 2 days, I really looked like a gangster, with the plaster on my forehead(when I can upload the photos I will show you all)
Haha..next time must be more careful...if not when got scar then kenot get nice girlfriend...hehehe Well gotta go work out the muscles...till next time =)
