Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain
Psalms 127:1

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.
I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.
I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;
Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.
I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;
Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.
I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;
And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.
I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;
O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

Went out with Nayling and Dina for dinner at Jurong East last night. I personally wanted to have dinner at Cartel, but Nayling suggested a small kopitiam near Jurong Court so I just followed. The food was quite tasty, only complain was that the supposed claypot tofu came in a metal bowl and it was not hot, and the pork ribs did not look like pork ribs, just the sauce is pork rib sauce. Anyway, 30 dollars for it is okay i guess because all of us were stuffed by the time we finished :p
Next, we took a looooong walk to IMM, through the field across Jurong East MRT. Over there, the two girls spent quite some time at the World of Sports pre-renovation sale. Stuff there is cheap. One can get an AND1 cap for 10 dollars and a Columbia t-shirt for 15. I did not buy anything though because the tennis shorts that I saw did not have my size >.<
Anyway, after that we went to have dessert at cartel hehe. Half price off all cakes! :D We had Jamaica Banana Rum and Chocolate Fudge...MMMMM and the best thing is we only paid 5 dollars! hahah Well, here are some photos I took (lazy to put captions :p):

As I read the news in the morning, the results of the Malaysian election, a sense of hope as well as a tinge of uncertainty feels my heart. Yes, democracy has shown that it works when the citizens unite. On the other hand, with the new government being formed with a whole lot more of representatives from the opposition parties, there is always the possibility of tension in parliament.
I sit back and think; it's no use I be so worried. I still have the one and only source of hope and answers. Yes, I may feel a bit confused here, but I will continue to trust in Him to lead the new government and also pray for the leaders. Even as 1 Timothy 2:1-4 says: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Me, a student in Singapore, can only get on my knees and pray daily for those in authority.
Father Lord, I come to you, with all humility. I place Malaysia into your hands and the leaders that you have chosen, firstly I thank You. Only You know what is best for this nation and I know that You have not given up on her. For the various leaders, I pray that there will be co-operation between them in matters pertaining to the future of the country. And most importantly, for Abdullah Badawi. I know that he has been in the negative view of many of the citizens, but Lord, You are the one that placed him there; continue to Lead him and guide him even as he leads this country for the coming term. Thank You Father Lord for your mercy and grace towards Malaysia this past 5 decades...

Early in the morning,
I sit in front of my laptop,
Finished my tutorial,
Well kind of finished,
I start thinking,
I start reminiscing,
The nights I had,
So quiet as this,
So peaceful,
Where I always evaluate,
My life,
My walk so far,
It has been an eventful one,
The 4th Semester,
Nearly everything is new,
And the CF,
Overhauls and restructuring,
Are the headlines,
Back home,
Election fever has hit,
As I look,
At the many things,
That are coming my way,
I can only bow my head,
And kneel down to pray,
To pray for the remaining semester,
To pray for the CF as a whole,
To pray more importantly,
For Malaysia,
That You O Lord,
Will continue to reign in Malaysia...
As I enjoy,
The last moments of the early dawn,
Before I hit the sack,
Just a reminder to those,
Who are voting,
Do think carefully,
Before you cross the box on the slip...
