I know it's like 2 days already and I have not posted photos about my small birthday reception that they planned for me yet. Was too lazy :p
Anyway, THANK YOU to EVERYONE who came to wish (and for the card and present too!! I like it) me. I was really surprised, even Gillian came all the way from RH to wish me!! :D and a whole lot of friends, both old and relatively new. I really had a great time knowing you all and I pray and hope that our friendship lasts a lifetime. Yes, not to forget Pris who called all the way from Semenyih to wish me *wink* ;) thank you! May God bless you all and keep you all safe in His arms =)

The Chinese New Year holidays have just passed and a new week of studies is going to start. It's time to get back to studies and catch up on lessons lost out last week. I believe all these can be done, not by our own strength but through the one who is all knowing and full of wisdom, our Heavenly Father. I am just so overwhelmed by His love and mercy to us humans who are so easily led away by temptations and distractions. So many a times we push away the still, small voice and choose to succumb to the storms of life.
I am fully persuaded this second half of the semester to really give God all the glory, be it in times of happiness or in times of sadness. Even as I sang the song 'Lord I offer my life to You' last night with the CF people, let it be really true in my life that I surrender all and what I've been through be a testimony of what I preach to people. I thank Him for bringing so many God loving people into my life, particularly Victor and Hui-en. They have been a great reminder every time I slip into the rut of complacency.
I believe that His plan for all His children is to have good success everywhere and in everything that they do. I would just like to encourage those reading this to take a hold of the promises that the Lord has given to you. The bible has plenty of promises that the Father has promised us. We just have to receive it with thanksgiving =)

I was instantly struck,

And her voice,
So angelic,
And heavenly,
This funny feeling that I have inside,
Is it for real?

I don't really know her that well yet,
