I really really don't know how to feel for this semester. On one hand I have so many things to keep in my small memory booklet and on the other hand there are issues and stuff which I want to forget as soon as possible.
Happy that my tennis has picked up it's game, my backhand has improved, my footwork too. Thank you to Guoan, Lionel, Steve, Ken, Zhi Hao for the drills and the many tie-breakers we played during training. We shall own IHG tennis this year :D
Also glad that VCF has somewhat became a part of my life. And the many friends I have made, Alicia, Bernice, Christopher, Dennis, Shuyan....and the many more. I pray that we will grow together in Him through all the discussions and the bible studies that we have. Watch out, next semester there will be more exciting stuff going on =) Victor, Hui-en, Min Sun, Daniel, Julie, it has been great working with you guys(and girls) and I'm looking forward to the new semester to do more of His work with you all. Expect great things to happen =)
And yes, not forgetting all the other friends, me fellow niggas, Fung Hong, Fair Yi and Jieyu, we spent a lot of time in LT 2, sleeping in lecture and crapping during lunch =) Maybe will make a trip down to Malacca to see you guys =)
Matthias, Christine, Ming Hui, you have all been great coursemates, adding me into your circle eventhough I'm kind of like the loner. Haha and also for lending me your tutorials :p (I will not be lazy already next semester)
Dina, who took one module with me. Haha are you thinking more mathematically now? 'Simple and profound'. That's the only profound thing that I took away from this module haha Thank you so much for the time together in lecture and also in tutorial. Haha. Hope we ace in when the results come out.
Finally, not forgetting Ying Qian. This kepo girl has been the one lending me a listening ear everytime(okay most of the time) when I am in one of my emo moods. It really helped me through a lot of difficult periods and also encouraged me that the world is not going to end so soon. Terima kasih! Arigato! Vanakam! Thank you! Glad to see you well again. Take lots of care ya.
Well, in the midst of all the good things that has happened, there are still downturns in life. I'm glad that through these things, I manage to learn a few essential lessons in life.
Peer evaluation has always been a part of me since I went to school and when I could not measure up to the smartest in the class, man it will take a lot to comfort me. It was this semester that I realised that being the smartest should not be the goal of studying, rather exploiting what you understand in a particular topic to you benefit. Yes we try our best to be one of the top, but when there is failure, we have to take heart that we did learn something, just not that intense as other people. And this should be the main focus of studying, to learn, and not for exams. To gain real knowledge, not exam knowledge which after the exams are deleted from the brain.
I can say that I am not very happy now with my papers this semester, but one thing is for sure, I will not be put down by it. Every module I take, I do my best and let God do the blessing. I am very sure that there is a reason for everything that happens. Yeah so....going to take a nap and later prepare for my last paper on Saturday. Cheers! =)

To my dear friend,
Who has always been there,
Everytime I need a friend,
I'm sorry I wasn't there,
When you needed a friend,
Please do take care of yourself,
And I pray that you will be well soon,
And that,
The blood test results will be fine,
I will to see you soon,
Thank you for everything,
That you have done,
Though you say,
You are kepo,
But it helps a lot,
When I need someone to talk to,
Thank you =)

Even as the heavy rain pours down on the earth,
Blessing the plants and every creature on the face of this earth,
So my blessing will be upon thee,
So mighty as this rain,
So refreshing,
Go forth,
Do not be afraid,
Do not be dismayed,
For I,
The Lord of Israel,
The Lord of Abraham,
The Lord of Jacob,
Is with you..

I'm worried,
For someone,
Someone in my heart,
Something happened,
Last Monday
And something,
Happened again today,
Though not as massive,
As last week,
There was still,
A 2.0 on the Richter Scale,
Someone hurt her,
Last week,
And today,
On her special day,
Someone else hurt her,
With the same thing,
I'm disappointed,
Very disappointed,
If whoever did that,
Was a guy,
Seriously...
Don't ever hurt a delicate girl,
Just don't,
It's wrong,
Period.

It's already 1.45 pm and I have not started studying yet for Mathematical Thinking >< Just feel very lazy today. Nevermind, I shall persevere, after watching one Simpsons episode, and study hard for tomorrow. Good thing the exam is in the evening, if not, I'm dead meat. Study Hard everyone, and God bless you all very much! =)

Ivan!
How selfish can you be?
She has responsibilities to bear,
People to care,
You are here,
200 km away,
And you expect her,
To bear your burdens too?
And what is this feeling,
Of insecurity, of jealousy, that you have?
About your relationship with her?
Damn it,
Although you still care for her,
She is not yours!
Please, for her sake,
Don't make things worse for her.
She has gone through so many things,
In this past week,
Yes I know you have been too,
But it's not as much as her,
So please,
Ivan Ong Chong Beng,
Be more sensitive,
And understanding,
To people's feelings,
Can?

Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
If I never wake up in the morning
Would she ever doubt the way I feel
About her in my heart
If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face the world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
'Cause I've lost loved ones in my life
Who never knew how much I loved them
Now I live with the regret
That my true feelings for them never were revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance to tell her how I feel
If tomorrow never comes
Will she know how much I loved her
Did I try in every way to show her every day
That she's my only one
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face the world without me
Is the love I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
So tell that someone that you love
Just what you're thinking of
If tomorrow never comes

I was just listening to this song,
And it caused me to miss someone,
Someone that has been,
In my heart for so long,
I miss you,
Everytime I hear this...
This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore
On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand
I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know
I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go

I just found out that Federer and Sampras are playing 3 matches! The first match was yesterday in Seoul. I saw the highlights of the match in youtube and I have to say, Federer was giving a lot of chances to Sampras. In a real competitive match, I won't be able to see Federer give such a nice ball for his opponent to smash down. Maybe I'm saying this because I like Federer more, but that's just how I feel :p Anyway, Federer won the match 6-4 6-3. Sampras still has his bullet like serve, which caught Federer a few times. Overall, I think both of them enjoyed themselves very much, that is what matters =)

Today, I got hit by a racquet again. This time it was in the squash court. No, it was not as bad as the last time, but i did get a nice welt on my left arm(looked like an abused child for awhile :p) . Like the last time, it happened so fast and the next thing I knew, I was feeling this sensation on my arm. Rupa-rupanya kena hit by Pang's racquet. Good thing I am kind of dark so the welt
is not so visible :p

The Library,
A hideout for silence,
Sound and noise barred,
However, everything changes,
When it is,
READING WEEK!
Not only silence is broken,
There are people everywhere,
Every nook and cranny,
Accompanied by tons,
Of books and notes,
And not to mention,
Food for the brain,
And water for the throat
It's my 3rd time studying in the library,
And everytime I find it interesting,
Semester 1,
I studied at level 6,
Where the noise level is the highest,
Maybe because it it the highest floor,
In the library :p
Semester 2,
I was at level 3,
With Lalitha and Lynn,
Find it better than level 6,
Less noise,
Better environment,
Semester 3,
Studying now at level 5,
Reference book corner,
The best place so far,
Not only it has windows,
To look out once in a while,
It is not as cold,
Even when there is rain,
And it's the quietest place,
Except for the occasional photocopying machine,
I like it :)
Next semester,
Another spot will be found,
Hopefully better than this,
To all out there,
Who are studying so very hard,
I feel for you,
All the best revising for the finals,
And God bless you all too!

It's a wonder how people can change,
In a twinkling of an eye,
A snap of the fingers,
It just takes that split second,
I've never really comprehended that,
But time and time again,
I see it happening,
Not only to me,
But to the people around me
I guess it's just human nature,
That we forget sometimes,
If not most of the times,
Of the people who are always behind the scenes,
Praying and encouraging us,
And treat them,
As though they are not there at all,
My friends take this from me,
Never ever forget,
Those who have helped you,
Encouraged you,
Picked you out of the drain
They have shown you kindness,
In your times of need,
Now it's your turn to show them,
Your kind heart,
Remember my friends,
Remember

As expected, Federer breezed to the Master's Cup with a straight sets win over David Ferrer. Was looking at the live scores online throughout the match and the number of break point opportunities that Federer got was awesome and there was once in the 3rd set where he saved 3 straight break points! Well I will just let the statistics tell for itself (Oh ya did I tell you he won a Mercedes as well?):
Aces: 9
Double faults: 2
1st serve%: 66
1st serve points won: 83%
2nd serve points won: 56%
Break points won: 6/9
Total points won: 93
Winners: 30
Unforced errors: 29

1st serve points won: 32/39(82%)
2nd serve points won: 5/9(56%)
Break points won: 1/1(100%)
1st return points won: 11/28(39%)
2nd return points won: 5/11(45%)
Break points won: 3/4(75%)
Total service points won: 37/48(77%)
Total return points won: 16/39(41%)
Total points won: 53
Winners: 26

All the best for today's final against Ferrer, hope you win it!

Am I destined to be alone?
Maybe it's my destiny,
Maybe it's my calling,
To stay single,
Like Paul,
And be a blessing to others,
I did try,
And tried hard I did,
To find someone,
I did,
Or thats what I thought so,
But alas,
She is not the one,
Although I still have her,
In the corner of my heart,
Clueless I may be,
Frustrating sometimes it may seem,
To see people around,
getting the love of their lives,
But this I know,
To see my fellow brothers and sisters,
Grow and grow,
In Him,
Is a joy for me,
And it's a real joy for me,
To see my dear girl,
Receive her calling,
God bless you :)
I should not be the one,
Holding you back on your calling,
Let the spirit rule,
Over the flesh,
Even though I am single,
I still have Big Papa in heaven,
And my family,
Into your hands,
I commit again,
All I am,
For You Lord

All these are the definition of time, according to Dictionary.com. So complicated...Man always seem to have little time to finish things that they have in hand. Assignments, projects, presentation etc. Now everyone is complaining of not enough time to study for the exams. Why stress yourself out so much?! I've learnt, that failure should not be a stumbling block in our lives, rather we should be glad that we have tried our very best in doing in. No matter how little you understand a topic, it's okay because you are still learning something at least. And if you do not do well in exams, it does not mean that you are stupid! In this exam orientated world/society, we can see so many people being stressed up with studying for exams that they lose focus on the true meaning of studying. Now, studying is merely for the exams, whether you understand or not, it is not the issue. I agree with my Mathematical Thinking lecturer that now, students are only interested in getting answers and not understanding the concept behind the problem. The ability to link simple matters to problems are rare nowadays. A little twist to the question and students are stumped. What has the world become? Aih, enough of me rambling.....
